Advantages for Petite Rivière

A diverse, welcoming community can be built.

“Groupe Pacific sees this project as an opportunity to propose fresh answers to questions that have been asked for nearly 20 years. The proposed vision for this site is positive. Sustainable development is possible, not just from a construction point of view but also from a community point of view. Groupe Pacific believes that it is possible to build a diverse, welcoming community in which individuals from everywhere can feel at home.”
Suzanne Deschamps, Groupe Pacific

During these three years of research and analysis, consultations in the form of small discussion groups were held with residents of adjacent neighborhoods. A number of concerns voiced during these discussions included access and connections to the site, the provision of recreational services, and conservation and development of green spaces. We addressed these elements in the overall plan.

Groupe Pacific wants to take a fresh approach to public consultation in collaboration with the City of Montreal and the various interested parties. We hope to present a project for public consultation that will take all the interested parties’ points of view into account - to construct a better project thanks to a participatory approach in which we firmly believe.
