Crudessence Academy Spotlight

One of the biggest difficulties with eating healthy is food preparation. Luckily, the increased demand and interest in healthier ingredients brings with it organizations that want to teach people techniques on how to prepare great food. Crudessence in Montreal is passionate about food. Their belief is that healthy and flavourful foods should be accessible to all since individual health is synonymous with the health of the environment and the community.
The Crudessence Academy offers a variety of vegan plant based classes and workshops from basics like “juices, smoothies and nut milks” and “sprouting” to specialized and intensive classes like “the mysteries of raw chocolate”, “living foods for the family” and “become a living foods chef”. The courses and workshops are designed to teach the key principles of living foods through the combination of science, practice and philosophy in the simplest of ways. Attendees will also be invited to taste a number of recipes (an empty stomach is recommended for some courses!). Crudessence also offers a free introductory lecture on living food taking a deeper look at what we eat and how it affects us and how you can improve your health. Classes are taught by a variety of experts and are available in both English and French. Make sure to check out their calendar for course and workshop schedule: http://www.crudessence.com/en/month/
